X-mas time with Big Ben

And so it was ... We have been rehearsing the past months and weeks for our secret band project, which is a X-mas CD with a mixture of very well known, traditional X-mas songs, some popsongs from other bands and some own tracks. Last week we went in the studio and finished the recording for 10 songs in just one day. It was a long day, but the result is nice.

Yesterday we shot the video for the x-mas version of our song "Love Is Strange" which had already been on "Redeemer" but now for the cosy winter time we made a new, softer version. The videoshooting was nice. As you know we do our own video with my camera and we are very good in making no budget videos, which you can watch on You Tube btw. www.youtube.com/bigbenexclusive is the link.

Posting a picture from me and Ben from the video, which is going to be online on Wednesday (check the You Tube channel):

The big x-mas concert is happening December 4th in Berlin and I'm really looking forward to it.

Would love to see you all there =)

First snow in Berlin today

IN the morning when I went to work it was still raining but during lunch we got the first snow. I'm always amazed by the first snow, so I needed to take some pictures, which turned out to be rather blurry but anyway I wanted to share it with you guys lol

Btw. the snow is already gone and I really need to buy winter shoes, in case we will get some more snow soon.

The past 2 weeks

Didn't realize that my last update was 2 weeks or even longer ago, but taking into consideration that I haven't been online that much, this is not really surprising. So what happened the past 2 weeks?

I was working my ass of again, since I somehow got promoted even if it is limited until the end of December, but it's a good training for myself anyway. Due to time problems I got to be the leader of our property department and due to to the fact that one of my colleagues was on holiday the past 2 weeks I had to cover 2,5 working places. Another thing was that I catched the flue and was feeling horrible but after some Grippostad pills even the fever was gone, so that I just had to stay home for 1 day. I just had to do this week because I couldn't leave the rest of the people doing the work for 3,5 people.

Last week was even worse since one of my colleagues got sick as well, so we tried to manage the whole department with half of the people. At Wednesday I was so stressed that I thought I couldn't make the week, but somehow I got through.

Positive things the past 2 weeks weren't that many, but I got my vacation form signed and booked my next 2 trips to Sweden, which will be at the end of November to join 2 of Jenny's concerts and my Christmas. And I'm really looking forward to those days.

What happened more? After I read an interesting article on Aspartam I quit drinking light beverages. Will see how that works.

My project? Haven't really have time to write something really good or finally finding a structure. One month is over already 9 to go.

Well I gotta stop here!
