So while we were waiting it rained and stopped again and rained again. The show was delayed half an hour or more when I suddenly spotted someone on the stage that looked familiar. I first saw the jacked and thought 'could that be Jakob?'. No, that was impossibe, Jenny had said 2 weeks earlier that he had a show the next day in Sweden so it seemed impossible that it was him. But the more I looked at him the more he looked like Jakob.
I asked Stefan and he confirmed what I saw. So I tried to text Anja and the others to tell them the news. But since there was not net I couldn't get the message through. Since I thought the schedule may have changed and Jenny would perform before East 17 I went to the press area just in front of the stage. But it wasn't like that and soon after that East 17 went on stage. I tried to snap some pictures to test the lights and how close I could get.
When East 17 was over a girl came along the stage and said that the press call is in about 5 minutes. Whatever a press call is, I thought. I didn't want to leave my spot knowing that Jenny would be on stage next but on the other hand I was currious what would happen during that press call so I followed the others. We were going backstage and to the stage. I saw the guys from East 17 coming down the stage while all the other photographers were going on stage ... so I simply followed them.
And so I went up on stage and guess my surprise when I arrived upstairs and Jakob was standing right in fron of me with his guitar. He was looking at me, smiled, gave me a big hug and said: "What are you doing up here." I didn't know what I was doing so I told him I have no clue.
I turned around and there was Jenny with her girls. I had the impression that she didn't realize who I was since she didn't expect me there. I wanted to snap a picture and she got her background girls next beside her. She was so concentrated being 5 minutes before the show that she didn't show any reaction. So I went to all the other photographers to the front of the stage. I was overwhelmed, there were 30,000 people just in front of me. What a view It was stunning. I saw my Acer friends right in front of the stage. They were starring at me like: "What the hell are you doig up there?" then they started waving an cheering. It was awesome, Words can't describe it. I made some moves to tell Anja that I just met Jakob and she was smiling big at me when she got my charade.
We had to go off the stage short after on the other side that we had come, going down again. I ran the whole way, when I heard that Jenny was announced and I was in front of the stage just in time.
The show was great as always. I love the energy when Jakob is on stage together with Jenny and the girls. The crowd was awesome too. It was my fave live experience from this year definitely.
After Jenny left the stage I went back to Stefan. we left he crowd and took a seat aside to the VIP area to watch some more of the upcoming acts and to wait for the others to arrive. We tried to send messages where to meet but didn't succeed. While I was on stage I had shown Anja that we were on the other side, so I was hoping they got that they have to come to the other side where we could get Rinad and her friend and go to the radio statio to wait for Jenny.
So we waited and waited and waited some more. Since no one was in sight I had the idea that we could go back to the press area to go to the other side of the stage to see if they were still there. So we did, but no one was left and we went back to our spot and waited another 30 minutes. When still no one showed up we decided to go to the radio station anyway. Micha knew where it is situated so they would find their way. They also knew the time of the meet & greet.
We went to the VIP tent to get Rinat and Hannah but the entrance was restriced. I told one of the security that I had to get my blind friends so he went of and asked someone for permission until he allowed me to go inside and get the girls. I had to look for them but found them some time later. From that spot I had a look at the backstage area and saw Jenny and the other acts giving interviews.
Together with Rinat and Hannah I went back out of the VIP area were we met Stefan and made our way to the radio station. When we were out of the venue we finally had our mobile connection back and the first messages from the others arrived. We told them to come to the radio station and that we have the 2 Girls with us....
So that was the story being the second time on stage together with Jenny ;)

Back in Sweden
After one year I am back in Sweden, getting some X-mas feeling. Last week they still had storm and snow chaos, now that we are here Gothenburg shows it's usual grey winter side. Anyway who cares when you can hear Swedish X-mas songs all over the place.
Yesterday we went to 2 nice concerts right after we had checked out at the airport. And again it was awesome. I'm always blown away what musical skills Swedish kids have and how they are being developed in this country.
We checked in in the hostel late and had a long sleep in morning today. After that we went to Freeport to do some X-mas shopping and even if my suitcase was full (and I mean full) already when we arrived I couldn't resist and bought more that has somehow to fit into my suitcase. I will keep you updated on that part.
Anyway this trip is only lasting 4,5 days so on Wednesday I will be back again in Germany to get the last preparations for Christmas done.

A lot changes and so little time :)
So what has happened since August that kept me away from the internet that much in the past weeks? Well I got a new little family member named Odin. Which is a little dog and that kept us all busy a lot and still is. I had forgotten how it is to have a little pet that is waiting for you when you come home and is so endlessly happy to see you every time you enter a room :) It was love at first sight.
Then I had a surgery on my leg 3 weeks ago, but I'm doing good and it was nothing serious. Thank God.
We booked tickets to Sweden, finally. Didn't even think of that I could make it to Sweden this year but now we are going some days in December. Looking forward :)))
not back to my works :)

It's vacation time :)
This years pre-summer-vacation brought me to Tenerife. I have no idea where the idea come from that I have to visit al Canarian Island's. I don't have a time limit either. But since I was on Gran Canaria last year, this year it's supposed to be Tenerife.
Could I imagine that this island is full of surprises? No .... not those for sure. Last year we had up to +40 °C in the shadow, this year we have 23 and seem to have end up at the wrong side of the island.
When I arrived on Sunday it was cloudy, then I got on the bus, we passed cloudy, sunny, cloudy.... sunny cloudy, darker clouds, even darker clouds .... stop at the hotel. It would be gone by tomorrow I told myself. It turned out to be wrong I learned the day after, when I woke up and realized IT WAS RAINING!!! What kind of paradise is that? I didn't get into a better mood watching the weather report of German TV that talked about the hottest day of the year so far and sun in the whole country. Looking out of the window told me I am in the wrong place.
I got up ..... the rain got a little less. After breakfast I checked if the hotel got internet and got to know it is broken... plus Monday was national holiday so no internet for me... I told myself that this was my chance to relax but I'm addicted what can I do?
So Monday I went from the hotel to Puerto De La Cruz, watching all the celebrations going on on the streets because of the holiday. The rain was over and I even saw some sun at the end of the day.
Tuesday: waking up I saw clouds again, +20°C... still no internet... going for a walk in the other direction which lead through banana tree fields along the stony coast ... I even got a sun burn despite all the clouds lol the sun found it's way to my skin.
Third day here so far.... today I went to Santa Cruz which is the capital of this island. Not that impressing, but you sort of have to be there and guess what? They've got sun :) So finally at the other side of the volcano mountains they had sun. The sky was blue no cloud at all... my face is all read now....with all the sun I got today. Now I'm back at my hotel looking out of the window seeing all the clouds again, which will still be here tomorrow... and as you can see internet is fixed ;) successful day as you can see...
So see you tomorrow
hugs

attempt to see a x-mas concert part 2 :)
Now I'm back ... back from my shortest trip to Sweden ever, filled with a great concert, nice talks, a ride through winter Sweden and a big bag of good memories.
This travel seemed to be under a bad sign again. Friday after work I went to my driving lesson and when that was over to the band x-mas party. I had only slept 5 hours after the x-mas party at work the night before.
I was trying to get to this day's x-mas party, which was not that easy, since Berlin's public transport is always out of order as soon as one snowflake reaches the train tracks or the ground. So while I was trying to get from one part of the city to the opposite, my mom, who was joining our trip to Sweden was caught in her train to my home, which was like half an hour late and Anja was still caught in a train in Hamburg, which was not going. 3 trains before had already been cancelled, this one had to be de-iced because otherwise the brakes wouldn't work. It would be bad sitting in a very fast train without functioning brakes, so waiting was worthwhile :)
Anja arrived a lot later than expected, but she made it. But this was only the first step to be taken until we would arrive in Sweden. Iwas home around 1 in the morining ... we had to get up at 5 to be at the airport in time.
After I awoke I turned on the computer to watch the flight. My Swedish friend wanted to go to Spain the same day with stop in Berlin, so she would have to take the same plane we had to take in the other direction so I checked first if her flight was in time.
My heart stopped beating when I read that her flight had been cancelled. "This can't be true ... not again ... am I not supposed to see that X-mas concert?" I thought when I typed our flight number with shaking hands. No note for our flight though ....
We left home as planned, it was so cold. I realized that the bus I had planned to take was not going that early on Saturdays so we tried another, had to switch the bus ... waited an eternity outside in the cold, made it to the airport finally - still in time. But the airport was crowded. I had never seen that many people at terminal C in Tegel's airport as yesterday. They were everywhere. Anja and I had to drop off the bagage, while my mom went to the security check. The flight was about to board and we were still standing at the drop off because they had problems with the conveyors. When Anja's bagage was checked in I had to wait there another 10 minutes until I got rid of my suitcase. Anja had passed the security by then.
At the end we made it in time since the flight was late, but the most important thing was that there was a flight at all. Arrived in Sweden we got our car and went to the hostel. Although we have had a huge delay with the flight we were still too early for the hostel as we learned, so we went for lunch before we could check in the hostel.
It was our first time in house 1 of Slottskogen's vandrahem and I really have to say that I won't stay there anymore if I can't have a room in house 2. It's not that house 1 is more oldfashioned but house 2 seems to be cleaner. you can read about that part of the travel soon on my other blog travel experience.
We got prepared and drove up to Kinnarp where the concert was taking place. It was in a huge sport hall, they had sold 250 tickets until the day before. When we arrived Jenny, Jakob and Greger were already doing rehearsals. I heard "Air Of Love" right in the minute we entered the hall. When we stepped in a man came to us and told us that it's not open yet. I told him we are here to meet up with Jenny. He asked me if we had tickets, I told him we hadn't but he should talk to Jenny. He didn't seem to believe me and send one of the other men standing around to ask if she was expecting people.
In that moment the door was opened. We saw Jenny on stage, she saw us too and waved. I waved back and she waved that we should come in. In the moment I took my first step to enter the actual location the man from before closed the door. I didn't know what to do so we kept waiting for the other man to be back. He came out a couple of seconds later and told us we could go in.
Jakob, Jenny and Greger were still checking the sound. Simon Petrén was also arround to do the sound. Jenny welcomed us and Jakob was waving "Hi" as well. While the soundcheck was ongoing we prepared ourselves, which means camera check :) When we had finished the first people from the audience came in. Half an hour later the place was full. We learned later that there were over 400 people this evening which is amazing thinking of how small that little city was.
Short after 7 Jenny & Co. entered the stage and started to perform. The program can't really be described because there are no words that would match this incredible show. They had traditional songs, songs from Psalmer För Livet, My Story, some from the original program and nice instrumentals. The mixture was just perfect.
Setlist:
Ett barn är fött på denna dag
Joy to the World
Så alldeles stilla
I Betlehem mitt hjärta
A Long December Night
Moonshadow
Mary's
Instrumental Greger
De som levde förr
Stilla Natt Heliga Natt /Silent Night
Air of Love
Instrumental
Dagen är kommen
Jul, Jul, strålande Jul
But this wasn't this great concert was followed up after a small break by a lecture presenting Jenny's book. The lecture was shorter than unsual but interesting as always :) At the end they finished with "Give Me The Faith".
It was just an amazing evening.
When everything was finished people hurried to the table where Jenny was selling and signing books and CDs while Jakob and Simon started to pack their stuff together. Within half an hour all the tables and chairs in the hall were gone. We had a small chat with Simon and a little longer one with Jakob talking about his coming projects while Jenny was still signing and signing.
It seemed that the whole audience wanted to purchase either a book, cd or both, which was incredible. When that part was done we had the chance to talk a bit with Jenny, to get some CDs signed. After a while she told us that she had to help the 2 guys.
When she was gone we started slowly to get our things together and prepare ourselves for the way back to Gothenburg.
Jenny, Jakob and Simon were still carrying huge boxes into their car when we went to them to say our goodbyes until next year. We wished each other a merry Christmas and a happy new year, waved a last time and went to our car.

I finally made it
Even if one day late and even if I missed the x-mas concert I made it to Sweden. Before I left ... like 15 minutes before I headed the airport I had called Anja to ask her if she would go with me to the x-mas concert next week. So new tickets are booked :) I have to see that concert.
So next week mother nature has another chance to let us come to Sweden in time :)
The first evening in Gothenburg I met one of my dearest friends who is working close to Slottskogen's hostel. If you ever need a tooth hygienic when you are in Gothenburg, she is the best :) After that we went to Liseberg. Too bad it started to rain while we were going there and so we arrived in our room very wet.
Today we went to town to do some shopping and I met another very good friend of mine for dinner. I think I made the best out of the little time I had. 1,5 days is really not that much, but long enough to get a good feeling and x-mas vibes that will take me through another week of hard work.
tomorrow we are leaving again ... if Berlin's airport is free :)

Snowchaos in Germany and I in the middle
What was supposed to be a regular business trip turned out to be the pure nightmare for me ... I ended up in Germany's snow chaos, was caught in Düsseldorf, missed flights and a concert I was longing for so bad. But I will start right from the beginning.
When I went on the plane on Wednesday everything was fine, the flight took off almost in time and nothing seemed to be wrong. I took the first flight that day and was supposed to take the last one that evening. While I was working my colleagues that called told me that there was a lot of snow coming down in Berlin. I didn't suspect anything by that time. I checked the website of the airline and no late flights were shown. At 5 at the evening my flight was suddenly shown as 3 hours late. My colleague and I thought about going to the station and check if trains were going. But before we were going there I tried to reach the airline to ask how big the chances were that the flight might get cancelled. I had been at this point last week already.
But the airline support told me that everything was fine and that the flight wouldn't even be late, it would take off just in time. So we headed the airport. We should better have listened to our gut feeling, because when we went through the security check the flight was still shown as going in time. 10 minutes before the boarding the flight got cancelled because of bad weather in Berlin. We were supposed to get to the airline information to get further information how to go on. I was already already in alert since I wanted to go to Sweden 1 day later to see Jenny Berggren perform her X-mas show.
When we were standing in a looooong row someone from the staff told us we could only change flights to the day after or cancel them. We decided to go to the train station and stop standing in line since this wouldn't bring us anywhere. So we went to the cab stand, jumped into a car and told the driver our destination. He refused to take us there since the internal skytrain would also go there, the driver would just make 2,5 € and would have to wait another 2 hours for the next guest. He literally threw us off the cab and we ran to the sky train to be taken to the station.
There we found out that the night trains were fully booked and that the first train we could take would go at 5 am. So we booked ticket. After that we went back to the airport to see if there was anything we had to do to get the money for the tickets back. There they told us that also all the trains wouldn't go due to snow. It was like someone was opening a huge hole under my feet ... I felt that I was almost fainting - this couldn't be true...
All we could do is to book the flight to the day after. I told the woman at the counter that I have to catch a flight to Sweden the next day and I needed a connection flight. I also told her that I wasn't going alone so we would have to take that into consideration as well. She found the last seat on the aircraft at 10.50 and I got a hotel room. We catched a cab and went to the hotel. My colleague got a suite ... I got a regular room, but I really didn't care. On one hand I was sure that it was a sign that I had gotten the last flight from the 10.50 flight on the other hand I was sure that I would miss the flight to Gothenburg.
I called my mom and A. so that they would calm me down, but it didn't help. At midnight I was still trying to calm down ... I didn't sleep at all that night. Made plans what to do if the plan wouldn't work out. What chance would I have? None ...
I awoke at 2 in the night ... at 3, 3.30 etc etc. I gave up at 7 although I had time until 8 to get up .... shower didn't help against the strange feeling I had in my stomach. I didn't have any dinner the day before and was still full, so I didn't really ate that much breakfast either.
I went to the airport at 9:30 again ... I went to the check in and asked if the flight would be in time. The man from the staff told me that it was as planned at the moment but if I ask him it wouldn't take off. But that was internal information. So I went to the security check. While I was standing there one of the men there whistled a song I knew from Swedish church. That is a sign I thought. Everything will go like planned. I went to the gate afterwards and there was the aircraft. I saw the pilot and the aircraft getting fuel. Another good sign. I called home and my mom told me that they had no snow and the streets were free. I told her that I see the aircraft and that I think we would board soon.
Suddenly the woman in front of me called someone and mumbled that the flight was cancelled. I went to the counter where the man from the check in was he looked at me and said that the flight was cancelled and that I should hurry to the information desk because he would release the information in a couple of minutes. While I was rushing to the information desk I called my colleague with the later flight and told him what had happened. I was the first at the counter and when it was my turn I was screaming at the poor person in front of me what was going on and how this all could happen. My colleague was with me in between and just looked at me. I asked her what to do and she said I can book you on the 13:05 flight but I doubt this one will start. I yelled again if she was kidding and that she should do her job to get me on my flight to Sweden. We decided to go to the station again to see when the next train was going. There we got to know that the train at 5.00 went like planned. "Shit" I thought because if I had taken that train I would have come to the airport in time.
Anyway the next train would go in 15 minutes so we went there. We had still the tickets which were still valid. The train was of course late too but we took it. I missed my flight to Sweden and the concert but arrived save home. I have never enjoyed arriving in Berlin that much...

Almost on the way :)
Just one day of work left ... one time going up very early, fly to Düsseldorf, go to Oberhausen, work work work, go back to Düsseldorf, get on board, fly back to Berlin and being home in the middle of the night :)
My suitcase is almost packed, batteries are currently charging, backpack is packed, presents are in the suitcase etc etc. I'm so happy. I have to enjoy every single second since it looks right now that I won't be able to go there very soon again. Due to a move we won't get off from work in the 1st quarter of next year. Max. 1x 5 days, so I have to plan carefully.
So I'm off until Sunday :)

Travel Experience
Travelling with a train can be exciting or boring. Yesterday I had a quite disgusting coincidence: I went to the bathroom, which is already disgusting in itself if you ask me. I don't like public bathrooms at all.
Everyone knows what women do if they go on public toilets. So was I sorta half standing half sitting when the train was suddenly driving around the corner. The whole train was leaning in the wrong direction which made me just fall over myself. I had no chance to hold myself so I bumped on the disgusting floor, hit my head badly on the door. I have no idea how I managed landing fully on the floor in this tiny room, but I did it. So I tried to wash anything I could when I finally got up again. and surprise surprise I didn't have any Sterilium with me.

By the way if you wanna read more about my travel experience ... just visit my other blog :) which is about hostels and hotels more or less TRAVEL EXPERIENCE

Snow Chaos in Germany
Yesterday was a real shit day. I had agreed with my colleague that he would pick me up from the hotel later than usual since he had to pick up another colleague of me from the airport before.
I thought I could sleep until 7 at least ... 10 to 7 my work mobile rang - my flying colleague was still caught at the airport in Berlin - the flight was delayed because of snow in Berlin. Can you believe that? Why does winter always come as sudden as x-mas and b-days? No one knows.
But the fact that my colleague didn't arrive meant also that my other colleague was on the way back from the airport already to catch me up. So I jumped under the shower, did the fastes dressing session ever, put all my stuff into the suitcase and ran down to get some breakfast before he would arrive. I made it in time ....
My flying colleague arrived 2 hours later than expected, we had to postpone a meeting which became one of the worst ever. After that we managed some other things we had on the list. When my colleague was about to go I checked the internet and her flight which was supposed to depart at 4:45 had a delay of 40 minutes already.
While she was going back to the airport again I kept checking the flights .... mine at the evening had by that time a delay of 2 hours. The delays of both flights got worse and worse within the next hour. At the end my colleagues flight was from 4:45 on 9:33 and mine? mine was cancelled. I paniced when I read that I just wanted to go home. I had spent the last 3 days there, I wanted to go back, I had many tasks at work on Friday already and I had my driving lessons.
So I called my office in Berlin and asked if they could book a train ticket for me. I checked with my colleague at the airport and we decided to go together.
When I arrive at the train station the train was of course also delayed - how could we expect this wouldn't happen. Trains in Germany are always delayed even in the hottest summer, so of course also when snow is on the tracks.
We arrived late in the night and I was home by midnight ...

Catastrophy flight 6569
What a week .... It started a little not so stressed lol which means I had a "short" 8,5 hour day on monday followed up by a visit at the dentist. Yeah I finally made it for this year ... it was about time since I had to cancel at least 3 dates at the dentist during the year because of work (meetings and other things). So I didn't have that much time left until the end of the year. In Germany you have to go once a year to have the full insurance in case of damage lol
Tuesday ... was OK too I guess. I really have no clue right now how Tuesday was lol but I went to the gym, so it wasn't that bad. But I had to get prepared for the coming 3 days.
4 hours or sleep on Wednesday .... when I went to the bus stop I met first a huge dog which wanted to eat me (yes you know I'm afraid of dogs - so a running and jumping dog straight in front of me running in my directing IS scary) ... waiting for the bus stop it started to snow. It became worse when I had to switch to the other bus. The flight to Düsseldorf took of almost in time .... so just a small delay. I worked late this day since I had to go back to Berlin ... the flight back was delayed so that I was home around 11:15 p.m.
BUT the worst was actually that this night would also have only 4 hours to sleep since I had to go to Frankfurt the day after ... I had trouble keeping my eyes open during the seminar I was at. And afterwards we went to a nice restaurant so I was in bed around 11 p.m. I slept like a stone. Was late for breakfast the morning after ... another day of the seminar. When we were sitting there it started to snow ... and it snowed and snowed. Well compared to other countries it was probably just a small snowflake on the ground .... on Germany this is enough to delay flights and trains and everthing that is transportation.
So we came to the airport in good time .... when we arrived the flight was already 40 minutes delayed ... and this on a Friday evening ... usch. While we were waiting it went up to 50 .... the staff let us get on board .... we were waiting. Then people came to take the ice away. Now that was interesting .... I took pictures :)

It took a long time after that anti icing until the plane took off ... I was wondering in between if it wouldn't have ice again. All of us were hungry and tired when it finally was time for take off...
Anyway we were sitting in row 13 ... bad omen? The stewardesses came and served .. and right after I had my drink and snack the flight was about to land again .... which means to put the table back .... which means that my snacks flew through the aircraft since I tried to drink and grabbing some snacks at the same time. Tired and multitasking - doesn't work.
So I had to find a solotion for my things:

By now my colleagues must think I'm nuts .... it's not too bad taking pictures of EVERYTHING when Anja or some other friends are around ... but being with work colleagues is different.

TV4 on Thursday - complications and fun
Thursday was a strange day of waiting .... we were waiting for a time and location to follow Jenny through her TV appearances. But since we didn't get any information when we had to me somewhere we went to TV4 since we had found out the address by then. We knew that Jenny had put us on a list. German (always in time) as we are we went there quite early, but that was our luck, since we ended up in a traffic jam and seemed to be stuck forever plus the fact that our GPS sent us a long way ... We knew that "Förkväll" would start at 5 pm and arrived just in time at the TV station, which means 4.45 pm. I went to the guard and told them that we are there to meet up with Jenny. She looked at us and said which Jenny. I told her Jenny Berggren and that she is supposed to be at "Förkväll". The woman gave me a strange look and said "I'm sorry but this show is not recorded here.". I just though: 'Damnit, wrong place again.' I asked her where the other location was situated, but she just called someone else and asked if Jenny was in. Another woman was waving with a piece of paper and said there are names on. But the first woman just ignored her. I asked again where the other location was, if they could give us the address. She just said it was a hotel in the city center.
In between she got the information that Jenny had left the building just before we arrived. I asked again if they had the address and this time the second woman made a try to ask after our names I told her those and she said, but you are here on the paper. Damnit I thought again, we could have sorted this out minutes ago. Again I asked for the address but the only info was the name of the hotel and that it was close to the central station. Since this wouldn't lead anywhere, we just left and drove to the city center. We were looking for the main street, but just in one of the tunnels our GPS died, all odds seemed to be against us.
We finally found the city, caught the closest garage and ran to the hotel. Sara asked a man after the way and he seemed to want into the same direction, so we just followed him. We finally arrived, this seemed to take forever. We basically ran into the lobby of this very nobel hotel. This time it was Sara's turn to ask for Jenny. And guess what he just picked up the phone and asked "Who shall I say is here?". I told him my name and he made a call, which basically was "I have a Jessica here can someone get her?" - For me it sounded like: "Little Jessica want's to be picked up from the playground."
We were told to wait for someone to pick us up and then she came. Mollie - so nice and sweet and energetic. While she was leading us to the elevator again, we got again the question if we were Jenny's choir lol this seems to become a tradition. Didn't know my appearance with Jenny was on national TV ;)
Anyway when we came up, Jenny was sitting there waiting for her time to be in the show. She looked fabulous and said she was waiting for us. A lot of young people were running around - this TV show seems to be done by people between 18-25 at least the ones which are taking care of the processes. We were amazed how tiny everything is and how the tiny space was filled with technical equipment and screens everywhere. Even on the toilet lol.
Jenny told us where the food was and was asking why we were so late and if we got the information we needed. I told her the whole story about how we got there. She told us, that she has had other plans for us and that she is sorry that we didn't get all the info and had so much trouble. Jenny wouldn't be on show before 6 pm so we had some time to talk. She asked us how we liked the album so far. Mollie joined us and suddenly she and Sara discussed books and where Sara was from etc. I don't really remember what we talked about with Jenny, there was just so much trouble with people passing by. The only thing that I found amazing was the fact that the actual studio of "Förkväll" was a bar all the other days.
Then it was time for Jenny. She went inside and we moved to another room to watch the show. There we had some food. When we were standing there for some time suddenly a man was standing next to us and I just thought I know him from somewhere in TV. But it has been quite a while since I watched Swedish TV. I'm still good with names, so I knew that he was called Hans and was searching for his last name in my brain :)
It wasn't hard I just had to take a look at the schedule and there it was, Hans Falén. Sure lol. We watched some more of the show, which soon was over. We were waiting for Jenny to come out when suddenly one of those girls said we could come into the studio. So we were sneaking around and finally reached the studio. There the guests of the shows were standing and having some food. Jenny was talking to the hosts of the show.
This was great, we were sneaking around, taking pictures, filming etc. We had so much fun.
When I was standing there with Anja the man from before came straight to us, reaching his hand out for us and presenting himself, asking for our names and told us how fun it was that we were there lol.
Then the bar was recreated and we left the studio again. Since Jenny had to wait for a car she asked us to go into the lobby and sit there. But the lobby was so crowded that we had to find somewhere else to sit. We just went to the 2nd floor and got seated there.
Again we were discussing Jenny's new album "My Story" and the songs. I told her that I don't have a special favorite song by then and she asked "Do you have to have one?". I told her that it depends on my mood usually, so this will change from day to day and she was fine with that answer.
We accompanied Jenny who was still waiting for the car to pic her up and were walking through the streets with her. She was about to go directly back this night to Gothenburg while we would spend another night in Stockholm. So when the car arrived we got to say hello to Simon, Terese and Staffan, wished them a save trip home and went back to our car to get back to our hostel ah prison lol ...

Pictures from Karlstad
Yesterday we had a small trip through the city center, as you can see on the pictures the weather was beautiful:

Goodbye Karlstad - back to Gothenburg
Today was more or less a touring day and we will have 2 in i row. We left Karlstad today and went back to Gothenburg. On the way we stopped at IKEA since I had to make an important buy for my family, so that was the best to do it on the way.

The weather was rather bad today ... it's grey outside and doesn't really look like you wanna go out and spend some time outside. So we just had a small tour through the city and bought some food. Now we are back at the hostel again and relax before we will start our new trip tomorrow. Looking forward to go to Stockholm.
Currently waiting for Sara to come over :)

Back again
... on this blog and tada - in Sweden. Haven't been blogging for a while, since my life is still a mess and I don't think people wanna read my complaints all the time :) It's getting boring. So now I'm back because I'm experiencing a life beyond my job again.
So yesterday I spent another day in Oberhausen, because from today on I'm off from work. My day yesterday started at 4 am and ended at 11 pm, which is loooooooong lol Anja was already at my place when I arrived because we had arranged that she had my keys. We went to bed sort of right after I arrived since today would be exciting.
We went to Gothenburg :) I was sorta nervous since I got a new backpack, which is HUGE to get all my technical equipment with me. So I was a little worried that I wouldn't get through the security check so easily. But everything went well, they caught Anja who's backpack is half the size of mine.
We had a lot of time left until our flight was boarded. Finally on board I had trouble to fit my backpack in the bin :) because of it's size and weight lol So finally the flight started. We were chatting and reading and watching until the food lady came around (I have no clue what those people are called other than stewardess) I ordered a tea and a tomato juice .... and what shall I tell you ... right in the moment when she gave me the tea she somehow hit under the tea so that half of the drink spilled on Anja and me. The good thing was that I had a paper on my knees so a lot of the tea went on the paper, the rest on my and Anja's jeans. We were totally covered with tea ... and it was hot. The stewardess got me some ice to cool my hand since it also was spilled over my hand which got red because of the heat. The stewardess excused herself like 100 times and came back after a while with 2 small bottles of champaign. I didn't care about the champaign since I don't like to drink it anyway :)
When we had landed the stewardess excused herself a last time and we went to the car rental to get our car. I have to mention that my wish of the day was a VW Golf. If I had known that before my wish would have been different for sure ... so be aware of what you asking for is always nice to have in mind :) This time the Golf is blue metallic :)
Arrived in Gothenburg we checked in ... started to get settled in our room. We went shopping for food, met one of my dear friends and went back to the hostel. Oh we had also already a nice walk though the autumn-Slottskogen, which looks so very beautiful in the autumn sun.
When we were back at the hostel Sara came over. I haven't met Sara in a year and the 3 of us had a lot to catch up :) Btw. if you haven't you really have to read her blog GOTTA GO TO GOTHENBURG it's very entertaining and she has a great style of writing :)
Tomorrow we will go to Karlstad and meet with Sara there. We've got tickets for "Evigt Ung" (Forver Young) a musical and this is gonna be fun...
So Gotta Go to Karlstad :)
Keep you posted

Do I look like a potential gunman?
I'm used to be scanned extra at the airport but today it was just insane. I didn't have had that much technical stuff this time .... just my laptop actually, but after it went through the scanner a woman asked me to follow her with my computer. So I went after her. She asked me to unpack it on a table. So then she was rubbing with a tissue over the keyboard and I thought they would search for drugs ... which of course was a big issue for me that I ... I ... who doesn't drink alcohol that often, never took any drugs and doesn't smoke is suspected lol. While she was exermining the tissue I asked another guy from the staff next to me what this test was about .... he said they were searching for explosive materials. Now I was speachless .... do they think I look like a gunman????
Seriously, do I?

One week left
Last year we had 3 weeks of vacation: 1st week like 25°C and sun - perfect for being active outside, second week - the AOB tour week - we had around 30/33°C which was so damn hot that was followed up by a week filled with rain and around 15°C - at least it felt like that. So any suggestions what to pack? No idea.
The online weather report says 25-17°C for the following 16 days ... still no idea lol. It's hopeless. I think I will have to talk with A to make final decisions lol
Have a great Sunday :)

It's been a while
.... since I wrot emy last blog. The reasons are a lot .... I worked a lot, trained a lot, was planning some trips .... I simply had a lot to do and when I was finally at home I didn't have the "brain" to write somthing smart lol ....
So what happened within the past weeks? We finished the recordings for our next album with BB, I bought a new toy ... I new filming camera, which is just what I needed lol (not ... but who cares) Sometimes I just need to buy something to know what I work for.
I bought even new training shoes ... Reebok Easytones will try to give my body some shape. I'm currious if it really works lol at least they look good :)
I was off on Friday. Haven't been at home during a weekday for a very long time. It's strange what kind of people are on the streets when you are there in the middle of the day.
I finally got a long awaited talk done and are feeling better since that happened on Thursday this week. It was about my future in the company and now I can sleep tight again lol
well I'm getting ready for my next trip to Sweden ... my B-day trip ... I'm gonna try to ignore that the 0 is showing up in my age lol
All for now.

back from my holidays
I'm back. I had 2 very relaxing weeks on Gran Canaria. It was fun, the nature was nice and very different from what I have experienced before. The island is definatly worth visiting and I will write about what we did a little more detailed later on. I've never been in a big hotel club before, could never imagine spending days at the pool instead of stroling around and see a lot of things. So this time I had it both, some culture and a lot of relaxing :)
The holidays started with an early flight, contained the plan to listen to Beautiful Life at its origin island :), see a lot of new things and relax. The flight was at 6 am, so we left home in the middle of the night. It was OK though.
We flew with Germania, never did that before as well. The day before I read some holiday ratings on the hotel and after that I was worried a whole night what I booked us into, because the last ratings were awfull. I found out that internet ratings don't tell the truth. I think I will have to write another blog on those ratings later on :).
The hotel was very nice, had 4 pools, a lot of activities and an awesome view. The food was so good that I will have to live on bread and water the coming weeks I guess lol.
Since everyone seemed to have checked in the evening before we had to sit separately, which was annoying. The second thing was that the couple that sat next to me broke my headphone so that plan to listen to BL were already destroyed when the aircraft landed :(
The funny thing was that that couple was going to the same hotel as we did and also returned home with us today.
Something that also broke on my journey is my suitcase. It's unbelievable how many suitcases I had the past years. I basically had to buy a new one every year and it was never my fault. Luckly I had the chance all the times before to return them to the store. This time the airline broke one of the wheels so I really hope they will pay for the repair.
Funny was actually that Gran Canaria seems to be for the Swedes what Mallorca is for the Germans. They even have a small colony called "New Sweden", Swedish and Scandinavian churches, a lot of Swedish shopps. I'm convinced that I read more Swedish in the surrounding where we were located than Spanish :)
Well I will resize some pictures and give you some smaller reports on the things we did within the coming days I guess

7 hours to go ... I'm ready to take off
So now they are finally here, my pre-summer holidays lol ... Gran Canaria is the goal lol I've never been there before, but wanted to go there so bad. Now it's time. My bag is packed, I have the tickets, I have my passport, I have sunscreen and a bikini ... everything else is not so important besides my camera.
I'm so excited and wondering what the hotel is gonna be, I really hope that the pictures are showing the reality. Take a look here what I expect:

This doesn't look too bad, does it? Anyway I'm looking forward the nature, the sea and the summer feeling so bad. And I'm waiting for that moment when I walk along the beach listening to Beuatiful Life from Ace of Base, since this island or the holidays there inspired Jonas Berggren to write the song :)
Expect tonz of pictures when I am back!
