kudos to Sara :)

For actually commenting my blog and not only reading :)

And because I don't wanna let that sentence stand alone here I will post some pictures as well :)

The first picture is taken from my balcony just the day before I traveled to Sweden:

This picture was taken in Fristad when the concert of Jakob and Greger was over and we were waiting for them outside the Church:

I need another sign ...

Since the beginning of the year I'm looking for a new apartment. Then I found that super duper apartment ... but it was for sale. When I finally decided to contact them for a viewing and took the possibility into consideration that I would buy that apartment it was too late ... it was already sold. Because of the fact that all the apartments that were for rent were so totally not my taste and very old fashioned I decided to look for other apartments to buy. I was really convinced that this was the only way.

But all the apartments I looked at were again not what I wanted. Esp. when you buy a property everything has to be alright ... and again I know exactly what I want...

Today I thought again about if I really wanna bind me that much and give up my current "free" lifestyle to do whatever I like whenever I like ... and then I had a very long and good talk with Anja. Which helped me a lot ... I think she was my sign :) Thanks so much Lieblingsfreundin :)

Chocolate to the max :)

Today was the big day .... A., some friends and I attended a chocolate / praline course which was so much fun. We got to do our own pralines and played a lot with chocolate. The tricky thing is that if you make pralines you somehow have chocolate everywhere on your hands ... A. managed also to get a lot of on her arms as well :) We had a blast. Later on we will go to a birthday party and have some fun there :)

Here you get some pictures of the outcome from the workshop:

day 15 - last day here - don't wanna leave

Today the weather was at least a little bit better than yesterday. When I woke up I had finally gotten an answer to the biggest question mark that was in my head the past days. I received a nice email which totally knocked me out because of the kind words standing in it. I'm so happy that I have so many close and nice friends around me, I just wanna cry that there are people who care so much about me. I certainly have the best friends in the world :)

AAAAnyway ... I followed the instructions of that email... which basically were to write an email to someone else to get things sorted ... but no response.

So I will leave Sweden tomorrow with a stone on my chest .... it's laying there where it has been the past days ... I don't like that feeling. But it's probably for the best. I will do what people told me ... I hand it over to God. I let him decide, wether I like it or not, I can't do anything at this state, since this has to be done personally and not by email or any other media.

Back to my day, which we spent in Slottskogen. I love that place, I love to just go around in there watch the animals, enjoy the nature. I love to think and sort my mind... which didn't help in that specific case.

When it started to rain we got back home to pack our luggage and clean the apartment we spent the last 2 weeks in. So that my friends who normally live here will have it nice and cosy when they are back from the trip :)

So that's it .... vacations are over, tomorrow at 11:45 am we take off and then I'm back in reality. I will have the feeling again that it was just a nice dream and the recovery will probably last until I start work monday morning.

Isn't that weird?

4 days in Hamburg

Last Sunday my mom and I went to Hamburg. We had concert tickets for Ronan Keatings concert, which I had given to my mom as a X-mas present, which we would go to on Tuesday, since she is such a huge Ronan Keating fan and I wanted to visit my Lieblingsfreundin Anja. We had cheap tickets for the bus, so we had to take a bus that leaves at 7:00 am. I had rehearsals the evening before and the paintball shooting plus the time changed from winter into summertime this night so even there we lost one hour.

So I slept max. 2 hours at home. When we came to the Underground the train was gone, we had to wait 15 minutes for the next one ... which also meant we already had a delay of 15 minutes, so all the other trains and busses I had planned wouldn't work anymore. I make it short ... we made the bus lol we arrived there in the last moment. I slept another 3 hours on the bus ride.

At 10:00 am we arrived in Hamburg and met Anja at the station. We went to her flat and the weather was still nice but cold. In the afternoon we went to the town again to take a walk at the harbour and to go to the Hamburger Dom, which is some kind of huge amusement park. When we arrived at the harbour it started to rain a bit ... when we arrived at the Dom it was raining so bad ... we got wet to the bones after just some minutes so we left and went back home. We spent the rest of the day with getting warm and dry again.

Anja had to work on monday so I showed my mom the town. We went shopping in the city center. The weather was better that day, we even had some sun. We went to the panopticon which was really fun and after that we tried a second time to go around the harbour, this time we had sun. In the early evening we went home to meet Anja who had just arrived from work. The plans for this evening was going to the cinema. We saw "Alice in Wonderland". I liked the movie. It was the first time I saw a whole movie in 3-D. It was cool.

On Tuesday my mom and I went to the zoo and the aquarium. It was fun. We spent the whole day there. In the evening we went to the concert. We had tickets for the 5th row - the concert was seated. I didn't like the location that much. I don't like being seated during a concert in general. Already at the first song the first row jumped out of the seats and we other followed lol so we were just semi seated lol. We had a lot of fun, although I must say that I am probably spoilt standing in the first row at the AoB concerts, 5th row felt far away. Second minus was the sound. They didn't manage to get it right so that it was sometimes quite hurting in my ears. I'm convinced that it wasn't the fault of the singer, since I consider him to be a good singer but the settings were just miserable. The show was good, but too many ballads for my taste. At a pop concert I like to have uptempo songs to party to the max. All in all it was good. I took some nice pictures and had fun.

Wednesday we took it easy. The day before was exhausting lol. The bus home left at 5 pm. So we went to town around lunch and went through some stores and looked at some things.

All in all I had 4 fantastic and relaxing days in Hamburg. I have been there several times before but never did that much there during so little time :)

just read about hurting friends ....

just read a blog about one of my friends who was upset about her x-mas gifts. I'm fine with that complaint and will try not to be too original with me coming presents. we obviously have different opinions on presents and I'm fine with that.

But since I read her posting I remembered something I'm carrying with me for more than a week now. We had our yearly band x-mas evening. don't worry I'm fine with my presents, but it was something else that bothered me. I brought one of my all time favorite x-mas CDs which is Peter Jöback's X-mas album. it's my favorite and it's Swedish lol. Well since I had heard gregorian songs, sarah Brightman's several (I believe at least I heard several) x-mas albums, Josh Groban etc. I thought I would bring something new. I just laid it there and if they wouldn't have played it it would have been fine with me too. but instead they played the first song realized it was Swedish, then skipped some tracks, making fun of the others and told me during that time that they like to understand those songs and find it not fun, when they don't understand it. this made me sad.

I was sitting there a lot of times listening to french music, which I don't like, since I don't like french as language too much, and which I don't understand. One of my friends was wishing SWEDISH albums of Per Gessle for x-mas or his B-day .... would he understand those? And third he doesn't French as well, so what's all about that with the I don't understand the language so I don't like the music.

I didn't understand it and I'm still hurt. The longer I keep thinking about it the more hurt I am I just wanted to bring something new around and if they didn't want to play it they just have said that. Since this would still have been more honest than destroying my good will. But who cares anyway.

They probably didn't even pay attention to that. But still I keep thinking of that and will take my consequences.

Just my 5 cents
